Cute fabric covered buttons – how to

If you have lots of small scraps of cute fabric you can’t bear to throw away – give fabric covered buttons a try. They can be made into earrings, badges, used in embroidery or on bags. You could even add them to cardi in need of brightening up.

Use the template that comes with the buttons to cut out a section of fabric the right size. I recommend the larger size buttons as the smaller ones are very fiddly.Put the fabric over the button, making sure the edges catch the teeth at the back.

Voila! Funky mexican buttons. Super quick, super easy – give it a go!
